RCMP arrest two suspects in stolen vehicle after tip

Two suspects were arrested and a stolen vehicle recovered after Kamloops RCMP received a tip from the public.

A member of the public called police, Oct. 15, to say a stolen vehicle was seen near the 5000 block of the Yellowhead Highway near Rayleigh, according to an RCMP media release.

Officers spotted the stolen vehicle on Frontage Road in Rayleigh and arrested the driver and the passenger, a man and a woman, with the help of police dog.

RCMP don’t say what kind of vehicle it was, if the suspects are facing charges or if they remain in custody.

Anyone who has dash camera or security footage related to the investigation is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and cite file 2025-34417.
