Case of COVID-19 reported at Kelowna middle school

Interior Health has confirmed a case of COVID-19 at a Kelowna middle school.

A member of the Canyon Falls Middle School community has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a school district media release issued today, Nov. 24.

The individual is now in self-isolation, and anyone who was potentially exposed will be contacted by Interior Health, the release reads.

Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to work closely with Interior Health to determine if any additional actions are required.

Anyone who shows symptoms has been reminded to remain home from school.
