Kelowna RCMP crack safe to find only a photo inside

RCMP would like to find the owner of a safe that was found abandoned in Kelowna last week.

The safe was found Nov. 20, outside in the 500 block of Rosemead Avenue in Kelowna, according to an RCMP media release.

Police searched their records and discovered no one had reported the safe stolen.

An officer managed to get it open and found a single photo inside.

“We are sharing the photograph in the hopes that we can reunite it, and the safe, with the rightful owner,” Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy said in the release.

If it you think it was your safe, RCMP would like you to give them a call at 250-762-3300.
