West Kelowna RCMP called in the Southeast District Emergency Response Team to help execute a search warrant at 1520 Ponderosa Road on Oct. 23, according to a press release from police issued today, Nov. 5.

During the search officers found 280 grams of fentanyl, 63 g of methamphetamine, 59 g of MDMA, 600 millilitres of GHB and 306 g of cocaine.

Police also found a .22 calibre handgun, several types of ammunition, three replica guns and a stun gun.

Officers made two arrests without incident during the raid. The RCMP said charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.

“The presence of fentanyl, weapons and other controlled substances poses a serious threat to public safety, and our officers are dedicated to preventing these dangerous drugs from being distributed in our neighbourhoods,” RCMP Staff Sgt. Brendan Dolan said in the release.
