No arrests after Kamloops knife fight sends three to hospital

There are three people in the hospital after a knife fight in Kamloops over the weekend. 

Kamloops RCMP officers responded to a large knife fight in a parking lot in the 3400-block of Westsyde Road around 4:15 p.m. on Nov. 8, according to a press release from police. 

Police are still investigating why the knife fight happened and haven’t said how many people were involved. No one has been arrested. 

The three people who went to the hospital had serious but non-life-threatening injuries. 

“The Kamloops RCMP Detachment’s General Investigation Support Team is working to further the investigation,” Cpl. Dana Napier said in the release.  “As part of the ongoing investigation Forensic Identification Services has also been engaged to assist with advancing the file.”
