Kamloops police looking for beer thief

Kamloops police are looking for an extra sneaky thief who made off with $1,600 worth of beer.

Kamloops RCMP responded to a report of theft in the 9000 block of Dallas Drive Dec. 7 at 12:55 p.m., according to a release.

A large commercial vehicle containing alcohol was broken into sometime over the weekend and several cases of Sneaky Weasel beer were stolen. 

The suspect snagged 66 cases of Sneaky Weasel, worth an estimated retail value of over $1,600.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone in the area this past weekend or who witnessed anything suspicious to call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-2477.
