RCMP looking for owner of valuable wedding ring found in Kamloops

A good Samaritan found a valuable wedding ring in Kamloops and turned it in to police in hopes of finding its owner by Christmas.

The helpful person reported their find to Kamloops RCMP yesterday evening, Dec. 14, according to an RCMP media release.

The ring appears to be of value, however, investigators have searched lists of reported lost items and have not been able to find its owner.

Anyone who has lost a ring, and can identify it with a description or picture, is asked to contact Const. Michael Scherpenisse at the Kamloops Detachment at 250-828-3000.
