Thrifting culture is popular among all age groups and particularly people born between 1981 and the early 2010s, according to Planet Aid. This is due in part to rising costs of living and a desire to protect the environment.

Digital platforms like eBay and Etsy have helped fuel thrifting culture, along with social media influencers promoting environmentally sustainable fashion trends.
