Kamloops-born actor to make late night debut on Fallon

A Kamloops-born actor is making his first appearance on an American late night show after starring in a hit hockey romance.

Hudson Williams plays the role of Shane Hollander in the steamy TV show Heated Rivalry, which quickly became Crave’s most watched original series ever.

On Wednesday, Jan. 7, he’ll appear as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon after the show, centring around gay romance in professional hockey, rapidly gained popularity over the last month.

The 24-year-old actor was born and raised in Kamloops, rising to fame after his first major role, in the graphic but highly-praised TV series.

Based a book series by Canadian author Rachel Reid, the show’s first season finale debuted on Boxing Day and has already been green lit for a second season.
