Vehicles lit on fire in Kamloops

Fire crews put out a pair of vehicle fires in Kamloops Wednesday night and RCMP suspect arson.

Firefighters and RCMP officers responded to a report of vehicle fires and explosions at approximately 7 p.m., Jan. 7, in the 200 block of Victoria Street West, according to an RCMP media release.

RCMP said that an early assessment of the fires indicate they appear to be arson.

RCMP and fire department investigators are working to determine the cause of the fires.

Anyone with information relating to the fire is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and cite file 2026-721.
