A family is missing their beloved pet after they were involved in an accident on the Coquihalla Highway this past weekend.
Aaron Proudfoot said in a Facebook post that his family's dog Lippy went missing Sunday, Jan. 3, after they were involved in a vehicle rollover between Hope and Merritt.
Proudfoot said the incident occurred roughly four kilometres north of the Juliet exit on Highway 5 heading in the westbound direction.
"I’d like to thank those that came to help them in this very stressful time. Unfortunately their small dog named Lippy was missing after the rollover," he wrote.
He asks that if anyone sees the dog near the highway to connect with him on Facebook here.
