RCMP officers raided a home in West Kelowna last week seizing weapons and drugs but no arrests were made.
Officers executed a search warrant at the home on Mcmorland Road in the Glenrosa neighbourhood, Jan. 22, as part of an investigation into a person living suspected of drug trafficking, according to a media release issued, Jan. 28.
Along with the weapons and a kilogram of illegal drugs, police also found drug production equipment and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
“Removing illegal drugs, weapons, and trafficking equipment from our community directly contributes to improving public safety and reducing the harm these activities cause,” officer in charge of the West Kelowna crime reduction unit, Cpl. Bryan Mulrooney, said in the release.

No arrests were made but RCMP said charges are anticipated.
Police are asking the public to report suspicious activity and report it by calling 250-768-2880.
