CP NewsAlert: Canada’s McMorris to skip big air competition following training crash

LIVIGNO — Veteran Canadian snowboarder Mark McMorris, in the wake of a training crash, has decided to skip big air qualifying Thursday at the Milan Cortina Olympics.

The news was confirmed by a source, granted anonymity because the Canadian Olympic Committee had yet to provide its update on the 32-year-old from Regina, who is now expected to focus on the slopestyle event.
