Investigators release image of suspect vehicle in deadly Kelowna fight

Police have released the image of a suspect vehicle in connection with a deadly fight in Kelowna last month.

An 18-year-old man died in hospital from the injuries he received during what RCMP called “an assault between two groups of individuals.”

The fight between the two groups happened in the area of Springfield Court and Springfield Road at around 8:30 p.m., Jan. 24.

Investigators with the serious crime unit are asking the public to have a look at their dash camera and security camera footage to see if they see the suspect vehicle or its occupants between 7 p.m. and 12 a.m.

Anyone who witnessed the assault is asked to contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300. Those who want to stay anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net.
