The U.S. Congress forced the publication of the Epstein Files, millions of documents relating to notorious sex trafficker and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, and Kelowna is mentioned relating to real estate and a private plane for sale.
Within the millions of pages that have been released so far there are a handful of mentions about Kelowna. Most cases when Kelowna is mentioned it’s part of a real estate newsletter from Concierge Auctions to Epstein telling him that there are mansions for sale.
In 2017, 11 years after Epstein was first charged with a sex crime against a minor, Epstein considered buying a $24.5 million Boeing 757 from someone who was storing the plane in Kelowna.
The file is an email chain between Epstein, Robert Peerless and Larry Visoski discussing the plane, which used to be owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and several others.
In the chain, Peerless mentions that this plane is very similar to Donald Trump’s. Peerless states that the original asking price for the plane was $24.5 million, but he believed he could get the plane for less than $10 million.
“The sistership 757 of Paul Allen’s is the TRUMP AIRCRAFT. However I can tell you this one was the better one of the 2,” Peerless wrote in an email to Epstein.
The owner is only named in the emails as a Private Chinese Investor. Peerless wrote that the plane was parked in Kelowna. The email chain also claims that KF Aerospace performed maintenance.
Ultimately, Epstein decides the plane deal “can’t be trusted.”
The Okanagan gets mentioned in the files since local ingredients were on the menu at a banquet in Vancouver on Feb. 12, 2016.
It’s likely you’ve heard about the files, an enormous collection of documents ranging from emails, texts, flight logs and more related to Epstein and his crimes. The U.S. government passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act which required the U.S. Department of Justice to release the files in their entirety while redacting information to protect victims.
The files include rich and powerful people from around the world including more than 4,000 mentions of President Donald Trump that are easily accessible online. The release of the documents has been hugely controversial in itself because they have been heavily redacted.
Senior officials in the Trump administration, including Attorney General Pam Bondi are in the process of going in front of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee over the alleged Epstein files cover-up.
