RCMP investigators are trying to figure out the circumstances surrounding the death of a 63-year-old man in Merritt last week.
Officers were called to a home in the 1900 block of Houston Street in Merritt, Feb. 20, and found Clive Hack deceased, according to an RCMP media release.
RCMP said it is releasing the man’s identity to the public in hopes of furthering the investigation.
“Our investigators are working diligently to determine what happened, and we are asking anyone who may have information to reach out. Even information that seems minor could help move this investigation forward,” RCMP Southeast Major Crime Unit Sgt. Robert Kee said in the release.
People travelling in the area of Houston Street at Nicola Avenue between 10 p.m, Feb. 19, and 10 a.m., Feb. 20, are asked to check their dash cam footage.
Anyone with information, or dash cam footage, are asked to contact the major crimes information line at 1-877-987-8477.
