An evening of art, healing, and community connection will mark the opening of Creatrix Rising at the Caetani Cultural Centre, Saturday, March 7.
The Creatrix Rising opening event runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Please note that an RSVP is required. Entry is by donation to the Archway Society for Domestic Peace, and guests can enjoy light snacks provided by Gumtree Catering and non-alcoholic beverages from The Sobr Market. A door prize basket from The Room Collection will also be featured.
Creatrix Rising is a healing arts program led by Archway Society for Domestic Peace that supports survivors of domestic and sexual violence in exploring their stories through art.
Beyond developing artistic skills, participants gain therapeutic tools, build confidence in their creative voice, and connect with others in a supportive environment.
The artwork reflects their personal journey of resilience and plays a meaningful role in raising awareness about gender-based violence.
The exhibit will remain open to the public until March 14 to celebrate the artists and offer the community an opportunity to engage with these powerful pieces of art.
Those wishing to attend opening night are encouraged to RSVP in advance through the event link here.
