Food lovers will have a chance to sample a wide range of local flavours when A Taste of Downtown Vernon Food Show returns on March 14.
The family-friendly event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. inside the Schubert Centre. This popular festival was a smash hit in previous years and locals are excited it’s coming back for another round of culinary discovery.
With more than fifty food establishments in downtown Vernon, the event offers visitors a chance to explore a variety of local and international cuisines all under one roof. Participating vendors will provide samples of their signature dishes, with food tickets available at the entrance for $2 per sample.
Guests can stroll through the three event spaces within the Schubert Centre, grab a bite, and relax in a dedicated seating area while enjoying live performances from solo musicians. Free parking will be available at all city meters that day, making it easy for residents and visitors alike to attend.
Organizers say the show is designed to spotlight Vernon’s diverse and growing food scene, giving attendees the opportunity to discover new favourites and support local restaurants and food businesses.
