RCMP ask for help identifying suspect who spit on customer at Kamloops business
Kamloops RCMP are asking the public to help find a man who allegedly spat on a patron of a local business earlier this month.
The incident happened around 2:13 p.m. on Jan. 12 at a business in the 700 block of Tranquille Road, according to an RCMP media release. RCMP do not identify the business.
The man got away on a bicycle and despite police patrols, officers were unable to find him.
“The suspect’s photo is being released in hopes that the public can assist police in this investigation by identifying the man,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn said in the release.
RCMP describe the suspect as an Indigenous man about 5'6" tall. He was wearing a blue Canucks sweater, jeans, and a black and white hat.
Anyone who can help identify him is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and use file number 21-1297.
