iN VIDEO: Revelstoke skaters use umbrella to slide across frozen lake

A group of skaters had an easy ride one windy day on Three Valley Lake near Revelstoke.

The group, shown in Devin Jensen's video recorded near Three Valley Gap, used an umbrella like a sail in Mary Poppins fashion to slide across the frozen lake, Jan. 23.

Jensen has been a Revelstoke resident since 1989 and reported that he has never seen the lake frozen in this way before.

The group decided to coast on the wind for an easy skate, according to Storyful.
