West Kelowna water reservoir vandalism suspects cooperating with investigation

RCMP have identified the suspects in the West Kelowna water reservoir vandalism case and said they are cooperating.

A water reservoir at Tallus Ridge was damaged on March 19, leading to a do not consume advisory in the Rose Valley Service Area that is still in effect.

The RCMP said all suspects have been identified and are cooperating with the investigation, according to a press release issued today, March 24.

Police said there is only minor damage to the property, but the investigation is ongoing.

The City of West Kelowna said it hasn’t detected any bacteria, but there is still more testing and cleaning to do before the reservoir can be refilled.

Police did not say whether anyone had been arrested or facing any charges.
