Drugs, cash and guns were seized and a number of suspects were arrested during an RCMP raid on a home in Merritt on Friday.
Officers, supported by the heavily-armed members of the Southeast District Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at a home in the 2600 block of Nicola Avenue, March 27, according to an RCMP media release.
Drugs, firearms, cash were seized and multiple individuals were arrested, RCMP said.
The suspects were released without charges as the investigation continues.
“Removing illicit drugs and weapons from our community remains a priority for this detachment, as these items pose a significant risk to public safety,” Merritt RCMP detachment commander Staff Sgt. Josh Roda said in the release.
