Suspicious fire at waste management facility under investigation in Victoria
VICTORIA — Police say a fire near a Victoria waste management facility has been ruled suspicious.
The Victoria Police Department says the fire department called officers to attend the area of Bridge Street at Bay Steet on Friday in response to a fire near GFL Environmental.
The police department says officers conducted traffic control and the forensic identification section was called out to document the scene.
It says the fire has been deemed suspicious.
The department says investigators are gathering more evidence.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
