
RCMP release images of Kamloops bank robbery suspect
Kamloops RCMP have released a security image of yesterday's bank robbery suspect, hoping the public can help identify him.
The armed robbery occurred on Feb. 16, around 2:35 p.m., at a bank on the 1200 block of Summit Drive, according to a Kamloops RCMP media release. RCMP do not identify the bank.
A man armed with a handgun approached the teller and demanded money. The suspect got away on foot. RCMP do not say if the suspect got away with any money.
RCMP describe the suspect is described as a fair-skinned man in his 40s or 50s, 5'10'' tall and 190 lbs. He was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans, brown shoes, with a black toque and navy blue COVID mask.
If anyone in the public has information on the suspect or the incident, they can phone Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and quote file number 21-4963.
