Ontario man wanted on Canada-wide warrant might be in Kelowna

The Greater Sudbury Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating an Ontario man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant who is believed to be in the Vancouver or Kelowna area.

The police service currently has an outstanding arrest warrant for Tyler Thrones, 30, for charges including conspiracy to commit murder, extortion and criminal harassment, in relation to an incident that occurred in Greater Sudbury in April 2020.

This warrant is connected to the original incident in Greater Sudbury involving 30-year-old Adrian Eppinger who was arrested by the RCMP in Kelowna on Mallach Road, Feb. 2.

Thrones is described as 5'10" tall, 170 lbs. with short brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Thrones is asked to call the police immediately.
