RCMP release photos of suspect in downtown Vernon robbery

RCMP investigators are hoping someone can help them identify the suspect in a Vernon robbery last week.

Officers were called to a report of a robbery in downtown Vernon at approximately 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, according to an RCMP media release issued May 12.

The suspect said the victim had hit him with his vehicle and then demanded money as compensation, RCMP said.

RCMP haven’t been able to identify the suspect so are releasing images of him in an effort to to advance the investigation.

If you can identify the suspect you’re asked to call Vernon RCMP at 250-545-7171 and quote file #2026-7183.
