RCMP are investigating after the discovery of a woman’s body in a campground in West Kelowna yesterday.
Police say at around 5 p.m. yesterday, March 9, officers were called to a campground in the 2300 block of Old Okanagan Highway to a report of a deceased West Kelowna woman in her 40s.
"At this time, criminality is not suspected in the woman's death,” Kelowna Regional RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy says in a media release.
The B.C. Coroners Service and RCMP are trying to figure out how, where and when she died.
RCMP are not releasing anymore information about the identity of the deceased woman or any other information related to the investigation.
