Police looking for puppy that was stolen in Halifax area break-in

HALIFAX – Police in Nova Scotia are investigating the unusual theft of a puppy.

The RCMP are looking for a three-month-old puppy that was taken from a home in the Halifax-area suburb of Timberlea on Wednesday along with some jewelry.

The dog is a female Boston Terrier and police say she has a distinguishing scar on top of her head where her black and white fur meet.

Police say her tail also has a noticeable hook to the left.

The RCMP say they were alerted to the break-in on Wilbert Devoe Crescent just before 4:30 p.m.
