Police are looking for suspects and witnesses after a back alley assault in Kamloops.

RCMP say at about 6:47 p.m. Monday night, a report came in of an assault in the 600-block of Victoria Street.

The female victim says she was walking her dog when she was pushed down by two people, causing her to hit her head, an RCMP news release said. However, the woman wasn't injured.

Police say nothing was taken but the suspects did check her pockets. Little information about the suspects is available, but police say one of them was a man.
