WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Jets say they know what to do to stop their recent slide, now it’s a matter of doing it.
Forward Blake Wheeler says they have to stay out of the penalty box and go back to the kind of sound, tight game that was working so well.
The Jets took a record of 3-1-1 on the road and returned with a record of 3-4-1 after dropping three straight.
They will get a chance to start turning things around Tuesday night when the Florida Panthers visit the MTS Centre.
Jets coach Claude Noel says he was concerned about the fatigue factor with the recent road swing because of the compressed season.
But he says they also have to show more discipline and not give up five-on-three power plays if they want to win.
