Canadian Press NewsAlert: Harper names Valcourt to run Aboriginal Affairs

OTTAWA – Prime Minister Stephen Harper has named Bernard Valcourt as minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development, replacing John Duncan, who resigned earlier this month. Valcourt had been a junior minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and La Francophonie.
