RCMP seek help finding missing Vernon man

Vernon RCMP are requested the public's help in locating a missing 54-year-old Vernon resident.

According to a Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media release, Carl Jourdain was last seen Feb. 16, in Vernon.

Police are very concerned about Jourdain's health, and friends and family say it is very out of character for him to be out of contact with them for such a long period of time.

RCMP described Jourdain as a 54-year-old male, 4'8 in height, weighing 150 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with any information is urged to call their local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Ben Bulmer

After a decade of globetrotting, U.K. native Ben Bulmer ended up settling in Canada in 2009. Calling Vancouver home he headed back to school and studied journalism at Langara College. From there he headed to Ottawa before winding up in a small anglophone village in Quebec, where he worked for three years at a feisty English language newspaper. Ben is always on the hunt for a good story, an interesting tale and to dig up what really matters to the community.
