
Rockets come from behind to defeat Royals
KELOWNA – The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Victoria Royals 4-2 on Wednesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna with four different scorers keying a come from behind win.
After falling behind the Royals 2-0 after the first period, the Rockets raced back for the win in the third straight game between the WHL BC Division rivals.
The win improved the Rockets record to a WHL-best 47-10-3-1 on the season after beating Victoria two out of three times and three times in the team's past four meetings.
Chance Braid, Madison Bowey, Leon Draisaitl and Tyson Baillie scored for Kelowna while Cole Linaker had two assists in the win.
Michael Herringer earned the win in the Rockets net, as Kelowna outshot Victoria 29-27.
The Rockets will now get set for a pair of games this weekend beginning Friday night when Kelowna travels to Vancouver to take on the Giants.
On Saturday the Rockets are back at Prospera Place to host the Calgary Hitmen.
