ABBOTSFORD, B.C. – A fourth man has now been charged with first-degree murder in a case in which an Abbotsford, B.C., man is accused of staging a hit and run accident to murder his wife.
Last month, 49-year-old Iqbal Singh Gill was charged with murder in the death of his wife, Kulwinder, who was struck by a vehicle on a rural road in 2009.
Two other men were also charged with murder, while a fourth, 26-year-old Sukhpal Singh Johal, was charged with conspiracy to commit murder and being an accessory after the fact.
Police say Johal has now also been charged with first-degree murder.
The other murder charges are against Gurpreet Singh Atwal and Jaspreet Singh Sohi, with Sohi also accused of being an accessory in the killing.
