Grizzlies confident in chance to even Western final vs Spurs with series shifting to Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The towels are showing up all around Memphis, hanging over neighbourhood signs and even at a door to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The sentiment? Believe Memphis.

And the Grizzlies certainly do.

While the Grizzlies are down 0-2 to the San Antonio Spurs in their first Western Conference final, they dug themselves out of a 0-2 deficit in the first round against the Clippers. No NBA team has won separate series in the same post-season after trailing 0-2, but they see only opportunity at home where they have yet to lose this post-season.

Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph says they’ve got to have confidence and believe in themselves. He points out they trailed by 18 in Game 2 only to push the Spurs to overtime.

Game 3 is Saturday night.
