Last weekend to skate at Stuart Rink

KELOWNA – Lace up your skates, this is probably the last weekend Stuart Park Ice Rink will be open to the public.

City of Kelowna Communications Supervisor Tom Wilson says that the rink will remain open through the weekend but will have to be assessed on a daily basis after that.

“The first time the weather is such that it’s closing the rink then it will just stay closed after that,” he says. “It will be open throughout this weekend, though.”

Wilson says when the closure takes place there will be signs posted at the rink informing the public.

The Stuart Park ice rink is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., weather permitting.
