TRENDING NOW: Amazing drone footage of Icelandic volcanic eruption

With hikers evacuated from the area, this is the best way to get a look at the fissure on volcano in Iceland that had been dormant for years and years.

The drone video from Viðburðastofa Vestfjarða is spectacular given the very high winds that made for rough flying conditions.

The volcano is about 32 kilometres from Iceland's capital city Reykjavík and began erupting through a new fissure last month.
