iN VIDEO: Travel videographer finds his new home in Kelowna
Of all the places in the world, travel videographer and YouTuber Noah van der Eerden chose to make Kelowna his home two years ago and he can't seem to stop bragging about the city in his videos.
In his latest video detailing his adventures in the city, van der Eerden, who uses the YouTube name Noahvde, said Kelowna is "the best city in Canada."
"Kelowna is home to orchards, vineyards, mountains and so much more," he said in a video posted Dec. 2, 2020.
The videographer also showcases stunning shots of Knox Mountain Park, Kelowna itself, Okanagan Lake and Big White Mountain.
There's so much to do outdoors in the city, he said in the video, whether it's hiking, snowboarding, swimming, or wine tasting.
"The city in my opinion, is the perfect size," he said.
He also praised the city for its opportunities. He had worried that choosing a smaller town over Vancouver would make starting a business challenging, but it turned out to be the right decision.
The YouTuber originally made a video about moving to Kelowna two years ago, so he thought it was time for an update, he said.
Van der Eerden has 83,000 subscribers and these videos about Kelowna are getting plenty of exposure.
He's made several videos about the city, including this one he calls Top Five Things to do in Kelowna.
