Elderly driver launches car into town house complex

KAMLOOPS – No one was injured after an elderly man lost control of his car on Summit Drive Friday night.

RCMP say the driver failed to negotiate a corner, drove through a guard rail and over a retaining wall to come to rest next to a townhouse.

The driver walked away from the crash to a nearby residence where police found him.

He was handed a 24 hour driving prohibition.

His car and the guard rail suffered some minor damage, according to RCMP.
