Live Music: Ten02 at The Hub On Martin

Ten02 is a young, energetic band whose melodic vocals and rock-inspired guitar create a modern take on alternative music. Fresh off their third American tour with dates spanning coast to coast, Ten02 is quickly gaining traction, expanding outside of their normal Western Canadian tour stops, where the group cultivated their routes for several years.

2nd Annual Paw-ty at Howling Bluff Winery

Riot on the Road – Vernon Public Art Gallery

Riot on the Road is Vernon’s signature alternative arts festival and one of the Okanagan’s most unique end-of-summer events. Taking place on the road and alley beside the parkade, Riot transforms an everyday urban space into a high-energy celebration of creativity, music, and performance.

Vernon Airport Appreciation Day

Celebrating the 80th Anniversaries of the Vernon Flying Club and the Vernon Regional Airport with static displays of aircraft, cars, and motorcycles. There will be a variety of food trucks, family-friendly activities including the Barrel Aeroplanes for the wee ones, prizes, community booths and aviation displays, as well as an opportunity to meet the members of The Snowflakes, our local RV Formation Flying Team.
Parking is available at Fulton School and in the vacant lot next to the sani-dump on Tronson Road.

Cactus Classic Nationals

Hundreds of BMX athletes will converge at Kamloops BMX Track, BC for the Cactus Classic BMX Nationals. The sixth of seven National weekends stretching from BC all the way to Ontario. Alongside the racing, attendees can explore vendors, team setups, appearances from Olympic hopefuls, and a range of food options available on-site. Admission is free for spectators
