Coach Luis Enrique agrees to contract extension with PSG through 2030

PARIS (AP) — Paris Saint-Germain and coach Luis Enrique agreed to extend his contract until 2030, the European champion said on Friday.

Luis Enrique, 56, has steered PSG to back-to-back Champions League titles and three French league titles. The Spaniard’s previous contract was set to expire next summer.

Prior to PSG, Luis Enrique coached Spain after winning his first European Cup with Barcelona. In France, he has succeeded in finally fulfilling PSG’s aspirations.

The French powerhouse also announced contract extensions for several players before Friday’s Ligue 1 game against Monaco.

João Neves, Lucas Beraldo, Senny Mayulu and Willian Pacho all got new deals through 2031, while Fabian Ruiz had his contract extended through 2028.
