Luke Yoder scores 4 TDs and Lehigh beats Georgetown 45-14

WASHINGTON (AP) — Luke Yoder rushed for three touchdowns and added another on a reception to lead Lehigh over Georgetown 45-14 on Saturday.

Yoder rushed for 120 yards on 17 carries. He scored the Mountain Hawks’ first four touchdowns, including three in the first half when Lehigh (2-0, 2-0 Patriot) took a 24-7 lead.

Hayden Johnson was 16-of-19 passing for 271 yards and two scores for Lehigh, ranked 10th in the Stats Perform poll. Aiden Mayfield had 94 yards rushing on 17 carries with a score and Anthony Feaster had 113 yards receiving. Joseph Marranca also had a TD catch.

Lehigh overcame three lost fumbles and a missed field-goal attempt but scored on its seven other complete possessions.

Jack Johnson threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Jonathan Alexander for the game’s final score and the Hoyas’ (0-1, 0-1) only points on offense. Michael Bonsu returned a fumble 22 yards to tie the game at 7-all.
