Production on TV show ‘Gaslight’ gets underway in Kamloops

Production begins in Kamloops today on the thriller TV series Gaslight.

According to a media release from the Thompson Nicola Film Commission, the adaptation from a narrative podcast of the same name is being shot in local homes and "small community clusters."

Gaslight, produced by New Regency, will star Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day), Kelsey Asbille (Yellowstone), Miles Joris-Peyrafitte (Dreamland) and Mac Rissman (Game of Thrones), according to Deadline.

The series follows the story of Danny (Rothe), a woman who reappears at her friend Becca's (Asbille) door during breakfast, years after having mysteriously disappeared.

Danny's disappearance near the end of her senior year left many confused and devastated, especially her close friends, Becca, according to QCode Media.

The New Regency TV show is adapted from a podcast of the same name, which was a production of QCode.
