Crews battling cabin fires on OKIB lands in North Okanagan

Fire crews are dealing with what could be several cabin fires on Okanagan Indian Band lands on the north end of Westside Road this evening.

There are unconfirmed reports of multiple structure fires in the area of Westside Road and Smith Crescent northwest of Vernon.

Photos posted to social media show smoke and flames from what appear to be cabins on the shore of Okanagan Lake.
