Penticton Safeway customer wins groceries for a year
A Penticton woman scored big in a local grocery store contest yesterday, winning groceries for a year.
Penticton Safeway first assistant manager Brittany Turner says customer Mikala Goranson won $14,000 in Safeway gift cards in the chain's #myNHLfamily contest.
Turner says contestants purchased certain products and used their Air Miles card to enter. There were two separate contests Canada-wide, one in the east and one in the west, involving Safeway and Sobey’s stores.
The Penticton store made the presentation to Goranson yesterday, June 8.
