March Music Madness underway at Sun Peaks

SUN PEAKS – The weather is warmer in the valley but it is still ski season at Sun Peaks and the resort is making March even better with live music all month long.

The ski resort is bringing in more than 20 musical acts this month, including DJs, bands and acoustic performers.

The music begins today, Thursday, March 5, with a performance at The Club and the first slopeside concert will take place on Saturday at 1 p.m.

“March Music Madness is the perfect avenue to showcase local and regional musicians to our guests from around the world,” Tourism Sun Peaks President Christopher Nicolson says. “Free, outdoor music in the spring weather creates certain energy in the village and provides a memorable ambiance for guests while elevating their Sun Peaks experience.”

The month will end with the Dew Tour AM Series amateur slopestyle competition, along with performances by Tokyo Police Club and Mother Mother on March 27 and 28.
