A two-vehicle crash on Trans-Canada Highway west of Chase Thursday claimed the lives of a 47-year-old Kamloops woman and her 11-year-old son.

Emergency crews responded to the crash at around 3 p.m., Oct. 1, in the 5300 block of Highway 1 between a Mercedes SUV and a Honda Civic, according to an RCMP media release.
