Police seek help to identify man killed by train in Mission, B.C., in July

MISSION, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA — Investigators in British Columbia are seeking the public’s help to identify a man killed by a train in July.

Mission RCMP and the BC Coroners Service say avenues for identifying the man, including searches of missing persons reports, have so far failed.

The man was killed on July 11 just before 7:30 a.m. on the tracks in Mission, B.C., in the Fraser Valley, south of Lougheed Highway.

Police say he was struck by a train and died at the scene.

Investigators have released a sketch of the man, describing him as about 160 centimetres tall and of slim build.

Police want anyone with information to contact investigators.
