Celebration of life for Kamloops Blazers president to be held at Sandman Centre
A funeral for former Kamloops Blazers president Don Moores will be held in Kamloops next week.
On Tuesday, July 13, at 1p.m., there will be a celebration of life for Moores at the Sandman Centre, home of the Kamloops Blazers, according to an announcement from the family, issued by the Kamloops Blazers.
Moores died on June 30 at the age of 65.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Moores, his children, Sherry, Wade and Nicole, his six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
The family has asked that instead of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation's pulmonary hypertension clinic in honour of his granddaughter Talitha.
"He was a father who was always there for us, helping us and loving us," the announcement reads. "We will miss his infectious smile, sense of humour and, most of all, his undconditional love."
