TRENDING NOW: Another day, another billionaire launched into space

Hot on the heels of British billionaire Sir Richard Branson's flight into space on board his Virgin Galactic spacecraft, Amazon founder and fellow billionaire Jeff Bezos has ridden his Blue Origin rocket ship into space.

Bezos was joined by his brother, an 18-year-old from the Netherlands and an 82-year-old from Texas.

"Best day ever!" Bezos exclaimed when the capsule from the spacecraft touched down in West Texas.
